I booked a 3 days-2 nights cruise, which is the same as the 4 days-3 nights except that they take you back to land a day ahead of the other passengers, but I liked it so much that I ended up extending it to 3 nights and I don't regret it! I even sacrificed what was supposed to be a 2-day visit to Cappadocia to stay the extra night on the boat, and then went straight to Istanbul. I had an amazing time! I met great people, ate the best freshly caught seafood I've ever had, jumped off a cliff, hiked through a beautiful valley up to waterfalls, saw beautiful sunsets, enjoyed the sight of dolphins playing in a quiet bay at sunrise, visited ancient ruins, played backgammon while drinking raki...OK I might not have learned much about Turkish culture or history during those 3 days. But sometimes you just need a pause and take a vacation from your vacation and that cruise was exactly that. I felt completely relaxed, free and safe the whole time.
Things to know: -a room is assigned to every 2 people, but you only use the room to change, shower and use the bathroom. It gets really hot down there and everyone sleeps on the deck.
-it's a one-way cruise and there are several stops on the way where you can choose wether you stay on the boat or go visit around. No obligation. But the visits/hikes were worth it.
-there are 3 meals served per day at more or less fixed hours, plus an afternoon snack, and quantities are generous so you don't go hungry. Water and other beverages (alcoholic or not) are not included in the price.
-You are free to do whatever you want at all times, except go in the water when the boat is moving, obviously.
-There were about 15 passengers on the boat when I was there and I think that's pretty average. You don't know what kind of people you'll end up with, but even if you can't stand some of your fellow passengers the boat is big enough to avoid them most of the time. I was lucky I was alone and ended up with a great group of people of different ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. It wasn't a party boat. Everyone was sleeping by midnight-1 AM pretty much every night, which I enjoyed.
-We were supposed to do some paragliding on the first day (at an extra charge) but we didn't. I'm not sure why. Maybe the weather wasn't nice enough. But I know from other people that it's usually part of the trip.
I could go on and on but basically, just do it! And don't make the same mistake I did: book the full 4 days-3 nights (it's actually more 3 days since you go back to land in the morning on the 4th day). Trust me, once you're on the boat, you don't wanna leave!

"A trip to remember"

We did a 4 days / 3 nights Olympos-Fethiye cruise and it really was a highlight of our trip. Farout was efficient when booking, answering all questions promptly and helpfully. They were able to provide a discount for my 7-year-old daughter when another company said children under 12 were not allowed at all.

Our gulet, the Arkona, was a nice boat with cabins that another passenger said were spacious compared to what they had on another boat. But we slept outside under the stars all three nights.

Our crew was very helpful and had no problem communicating in English. Three meals and an afternoon tea were provided. Drinks, including water, were to be purchased separately at very reasonable prices. Thank you Selma for our simple but savoury and filling meals! Thank you guys for a candlelit evening treat every night! Kudos to our captain for efficiency and flexibility with additional locations in the face of stronger winds on the third day. Thank you alaTurka! The improbably blue, no...azure, waters of the Mediterranean, my daughter's smile when she spotted a big turtle, her newfound confidence in swimming, sunset atop St Nicholas island, waking up on the deck to a beautiful sunrise - you gave all this to us with a smile.

Tips: if you choose Olympos-Fethiye route, read up on Olympos and if you don't find it appealing, stay instead in Demre, where you actually board the boat and start a cruise, and save yourself the trouble of transfer.
They tell you to avoid brining suitcases, and we reluctantly our suitcase in a lggage room in Antalya, but with our cabin space and us sleeping on the deck, it would not have been a problem.
Snorkeling masks might have been better, definitely bring your own if you have them.
If you want to paraglide in Oludeniz, book ahead.

4 crew and 14 passengers for 4 days on the Arcona. The crew and food were just brilliant. Our boys are 10 years old and were the only kids on board but we all had a great time. Only downsides were a 4am start one morning and the wasps attracted by damp towels waking us up as we all slept on deck - far too hot to sleep in the cabins which were ok but nothing special. Also the waste tank was a bit smelly after 3 nights but this was a great trip and a real experience for us and the boys with crystal clear waters, millions of fish, swimming with turtles, good prices on the drinks and great food. How they knocked that much grub up in such a tiny place is beyond me. Highly recommended but a lack of coffee when you're awake at some ungodly hour in the morning could be addressed. Maybe take your own flask.
