Kas is a seaside town built on top of the ancient town of Antiphellos. There are not many ruins above ground left. To the west of the modern town stands the ancient theatre of Antiphellos overlooking the sea. Constructed of Local Limestone the Hellenistic theatre remains remarkably intact. From the harbor, a path leads up to the ruins of a small temple as well as several rock tombs.

A Lycian sarcophagus lies on the main street sandwiched between picturesque homes and the market. Kas is one of the top diving spots in all of Turkey, dive down and see a shipwreck or check out the underwater shark sculpture by the artist Kemal Tufan.
