DAMLATAS BEACH
If you find yourself in Antalya and looking for a beach and cave scene, you might want to make your way west of the Alanya peninsula. If you are making your way to Damlatas Cave lookout for a blue flag. This flag signals the location of the beach as well. Just outside of the cave you will face the fine sand beach of Damlatas. The water here is so clear that asides from being able to swim along the rocky shore it is also the prime location for snorkelling and diving. You might see the daily diving boat excursions anchoring in the area for a diving session. Asides from immersing yourself in the open water aquarium, on land the beach has plenty of entertainment options. Certainly, around this beach you will not find yourself bored. Along the beach, you will find several beach bars, restaurants, volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, children’s playground and lush green parks with fountains. The Damlatas beach is also the only fully wheelchair friendly beach in Alanya, offering wheelchair accessible showers and sunbeds.
Within the area of the Damlatas Beach, should you have already explored the Damlatas Cave, a short walk away you can make your way to the secluded cove beach of Cleopatras Beach, Alanya or visit the spectacular Ulas Beach.
