It seems there are endless possibilities of places to visit and relax in the province of Antalya. Ulas Beach is no exception to that it is even said to be one of the best beaches in the Alanya area. This is a hidden gem from most tourists even though it merely 5 kilometres west from Alanya city. Ulas is a perfect place to take a break from the city or even from dashing from one ancient city to another. The beach is sandy with smallish stones while in the sea there are round white pebbles that are visible from the top. As you stare into the horizon the gorgeous open turquoise sea will enthral your eyes. The best part is that this beach is rarely crowded as it is off the beaten path if you don’t mind the occasional boat stopping over for travellers to take a quick swim break. With many beach facilities provided, including grills for BBQ, this is a perfect little place to pack a picnic and spend the day relaxing by the beautiful turquoise ocean.
Another great place to refresh yourself on a hot day is visiting the Manavgat River or the Manavgat Waterfall. While if you are looking for a leisurely walk, exploring the ruins of Side Ancient City is another great option.
