In the province of Antalya, there are so many natural beauties to visit and Oymapinar Lake should not be missed. Also known, as Green Lake is one of the two dams that make up the Manavgat River. It gets its name from the beautiful emerald colours of its waters. The banks of this lake are lined with pine trees making it have a unique beauty. Here also lies the plain of Manavgat, which is the most fertile plain of the province, prefect to grow cotton, wheat, barley and many types of fruit and vegetables.
You might even notice that there are a few greenhouses in the area. A great way to visit the lake is to take a boat ride where you can glide over the placid waters. Peek over the side of the boat and you will see lots of trout that are bred here. You can also take a plunge and swim at the lake. After the boat ride, you can settle at a restaurant by the lake to enjoy the panoramic view of the green lake and the Taurus Mountains backdrop.
