KURSUNLU WATERFALL
The Kursunlu Waterfall is about 40 kilometres northeast from Antalya and north of the ancient city of Perge. This waterfall is somewhat smaller to the Duden Waterfall but the ambience here is much nicer in comparison. It feels more remote then Duden because of its setting and to access the Kursunlu Waterfall you need to take a short walk through the forest. The natural surrounding here offers nice trail possibilities following the river or around the area. There is a beautiful botanical garden surrounded by seven different ponds that all the waterfalls run into.
The waterfall park is situated right in the middle of a pine forest and makes for a picturesque picnic spot. You will notice that all the picnic areas and the walkways along the Kursunlu waterfall are kept very natural. All nature-loving visitors will feel heavenly in this area because it’s so serene. You might be able to see the turtles enjoying the waterfall from the bank and also the birds. There is a rich scent of pine and the cool breeze is so inviting to all the senses. During the summer months, it is possible to spot some trout’s or turtles in any of the small ponds.
For those that are fans of other breath-taking waterfalls make your way to the Manavgat Waterfall, Duden Waterfall and Alara Waterfall.
