If you are looking to experience the majestic nature of Lycia take a gander at experiencing high altitude mountaineering. Kizlar Sivrisi is said to be the roof of Western Turkey, it reaches out into the sky at Bey Mountains on Taurus Mountains. It is said that there are no mountains in the Aegean, Mora, Adriatic, Italian regions that can compare to it. Possible exceptions are the Southern Anatolia Mountains or the Etna Volcano in Italy. This unique natural beauty is 3070m high and has a National Park that surrounding it. At the foot of this mountain are an array of cedar trees, juniper trees and even 900-year old junipers. A mountain trek to the summit of this mountain and back can be made in one day by camping in the Sedir forest. Also within this National park are other mountains are over 2000m high.


From this point you might want to consider taking a rest at the towns of Cirali and Finike. Of if your trek has left you too spent you might want to relax on the shore of the Adrasan Beach.
