ADRASAN BEACH
Adrasan Beach
This beach is a wonderful option for those who are looking to escape from Antalya but don’t want to face the crowd in Olympos. Adrasan sits on a cove surrounded by lush trees and the azure sea winking back. It is a postcard-worthy scene. The entire setting of this beach is like a dreamland for nature lovers, the lively wildlife of birds, fish and turtles. If you are already on your Lycian Way trek head north over a rocky outcrop to Olympus and then walk down the beach to the cove. Adrasan beach is a beautiful, sandy beach surrounded by wetlands, restaurants and loads of hiking options. Have a lazy afternoon wandering the national park and taking in the stunning surroundings.
There is also the Adrasan stream that reaches the shore lined with a few boutique hotels and restaurants. Some of the restaurants have wooden platforms that hang over the stream making it a perfect spot to relax. Maybe even give a little snack to the ducks that swim tag along to the visitors. The cove is ideal for snorkelling, swimming, diving, small boats and even some fishing.
On your way to Adrasan Beach, some travellers stop by to see the mysterious pyres of Chimera, or walk around Olympos Beydaglar National Park and visit the ruins of Olympos Ancient City.
