Fethiye and Dalyan that was known as Kalimche in ancient times.
According to legend, this is where Icarus was imprisoned and tried to
escape by performing his famous flight. During the Ottoman period,
chrome ore was collected from the nearby mountains and shipped from
the port. Today, pleasure yachts sail from six marinas to nearby
coves, islands and bays.
