Not to be confused with Cleopatra Beach at Antalya, Cleopatra’s beach is in the far east Mediterranean town of Alanya. Also considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey the origin of the name of the beach is even more beautiful. The Queen of the Nile’s lover, Mark Antony gave her this beach as a present. A quaint 4 kilometre stretch of golden sand, cerulean water and fresh sea breeze. A romantic spot right in the heart of Alanya. It is also said that Cleopatra would stop for a swim at the beach during her journeys along the Mediterranean coastline.
