Your Crew
On a private charter, the crew is what turns a beautiful boat into a great holiday. They live and work on board, know the coast like their own backyard and quietly take care of everything, from the anchor to the ice in your glass. The size of the crew depends on the yacht.
The captain is responsible for the yacht, your safety and the route. Share what you'd like from the week, and they'll plan around the weather to make it happen.
The chef cooks every meal fresh in the galley and adapts the menu to your tastes and dietary needs.
The deckhands keep the yacht spotless, drive the tender, serve drinks, set up the water toys and prepare your cabins.
On higher-level gulets and yachts, the team grows to include a housekeeper, who looks after the cabins and laundry, and a barman, who runs the bar and mixes your drinks.
On request, for an additional fee, we can also bring on board:
- DJ for a party night at anchor
- masseuse for treatments on deck
- babysitter, so parents can enjoy an evening to themselves
- professional tour guide in your preferred language
- historian to bring the ancient sites along your route to life
Turkish is the main language on board, and every yacht has at least one English-speaking crew member, with more on larger yachts. Your crew are close at hand when you need them and give you space when you don't.
