Route Variety
Turkey's southwest coast is a maze of peninsulas, islands and pine-covered bays, and each region has its own character.
• Bodrum and the Gulf of Gokova: lively harbour towns at the start, then long, quiet bays lined with pine forests.
•Marmaris, Bozburun and Datca: rugged peninsulas, small fishing villages and the ruins of ancient Knidos.
•Gocek and Fethiye: the sheltered Twelve Islands, calm water and easy hops to Butterfly Valley and Oludeniz.
•Kas and Kekova: the sunken city of Kekova, Simena Castle and some of the clearest water on the coast.
Greek islands such as Kos, Rhodes and Symi are close to Bodrum and Marmaris, and Kastellorizo lies just off Kaş. Tell us what kind of week you’re after, and we’ll suggest the region and route that fit best. If your route includes the Greek islands, keep in mind that crossings involve passport and port formalities as well as some extra costs.
