One can even still view the remains of an Ottoman Fort as it overlooks the port. It is also a lovely side trip option for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marmaris. This village has an array of quayside restaurants and also pensions for those wanting to overnight. Selimiye is also surrounded by nature making it a perfect little place to take an off-the-beaten track-adventure for a long hike, motorbike ride or a scooter down the winding country roads across the quaint villages and unspoilt nature. Swim, snorkel or just laze on the beach while you enjoy the views of the Bozburun Coast from land or from the sea. Either way, you will be in for a treat by the sheer vibrancy of the colours popping up to life.
