SELIMIYE
There are many coastal villages once you sail down from Bodrum and Selimiye has a charm of its own. Most visitors stop over on their yachts to enjoy this serene village. One can even still view the remains of an Ottoman Fort as it overlooks the port. It is also a lovely side trip option for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Marmaris. This village has an array of quayside restaurants and also pensions for those wanting to overnight. Selimiye is also surrounded by nature making it a perfect little place to take an off-the-beaten-track adventure for a long hike, motorbike ride, or a scooter down the winding country roads across the quaint villages and unspoiled nature. Swim, snorkel, or just laze on the beach while you enjoy the views of the Bozburun Coast from land or the sea. Either way, you will be in for a treat by the sheer vibrancy of the colors popping up to life.
Once you have enjoyed enough of your escape you can hop back on your boat and make your way sailing to either Bozburun, Cnidus, or Serce Bay as you continue your Turkish coast exploration.
